This EP was whittled down from around a dozen tracks with new additions being written for it only to be shelved, in a process that wasn't in any way quick. (The draft version has been on Bandcamp since 2018). I like headphones friendly dance music that I feel can hold up to the passage of time. Aesthetically I like it to feel as loose as a first draft even though I could spend weeks tweaking sound design and arrangement. The only four to the floor track here is Hot Tub Time Machine which also counts as my first house music track. Powder Paint is influenced by IDM and old Orbital songs, Fuckerrrrrs is a sort of Hip Hop mutant and Edible Mingo is a nod to the melodic idm of the early 90s, the sort that could turn up in a Rob Hall Dj set.
